I started with PIE2010. Haven't seen PIE 2009 yet. Loving the book so far. It just excites me to be learning about all types of sophisticated looking pastries that I have yet to see and taste back in my hometown, Singapore. But I would like to make a suggestion. Including captions, say under the images or near the pictures (especially those with images of desserts) that would better help people who have never seen those sweets, as such, better understand what we are all looking at.

I am inspired to take a trip to Europe, one day, and taste it all for myself.

I was delighted to be at the launch of Pastry In Europe last week at Barbara Jo's Books to Cooks in Vancouver, Canada. The book is truly amazing and of course I bought one right away. The quality of the book and pictures are incredible and a jewel for every chef.
